A Ruck to Remember
Challenge Yourself and remember those who made sacrifices so we can live the life we have!
Three simple rules:

This is a family and team event to challenge your body and spirit and give you a a taste of the challenges our heroes had for us. Open to all ages 6 and up. Under 18 requires parent or guardian as thier battle buddy. Parents of 6 to 9 year olds must attend as an observer to stay with thier kids. Waivers must be signed for EACH person attending.

The event starts at 7 A.M. at Armbrust Pro Gym back parking lot with group fitness, simulated military mission Ruck ( about 3 miles) Everyone on the team works for everyone to complete the mission.
No one is left behind! Social event afterwards at Armbrust Pro Gym. Snacks and meal cards provided by My Fit Foods.

Each team member is encouraged to make a minimum $25 donation to the Green Beret Foundation. The GBF provides support to our heroes and their families. A link to The GBF is below and on our main page. Veterans, active duty military and first responder do not need to donate, you have already given so much.

What do I need to bring and do?
This event is a team work out and follows guidelines similair to Go Ruck events. Each participant is required to provide thier own back pack or ruck. In it the must bring the water they need for the event. Any participant over 150 lbs. body weight also needs a total weight in the ruck of 40 lbs. Participants under 150 lbs. body weight need a total ruck weight of 25 lbs. Children under 10 only 10 lbs. This includes thier water and any light snacks they may wish during the 4 hours.. We highly encourage the extra weight being water which CAN be easily disposed of if needed..
Clothing should be comfortable for workouts in layers based on the weather that day. The event will take place REGARDLESS OF WEATHER. Our heroes did not stop for bad weather!
Any special medical or first aid you specifically require should be packed IE inhalers, epipens or medications you may need. You will not have access to your vehicle or the starting point majority of the event.
Work out or gardening gloves are recommended.
Cell phones and watches MAY NOT be carried on the event If you or an emergency responder on call or foresee special circumstance, please inform us and we will arrange the cadre and assistants to carry your electronic devices.
YOU MAY GET WET. Dress appropriately and carry changes of clothes if you feel needed. Identification and wallets we suggest using a waterproof bag.

EAT a light breakfast and time it for a rigorous workout from 7:15 to 8:30.
Stretching upon arrival at the event is suggested before starting.

ANY PARTICIPANT LATE MAY NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE EVENT. PLEASE PLAN YOUR ARRIVAL BEFORE 7 AM. THE GYM IS NOT OPEN TILL 7 AND WE WILL ASSEMBLE IN THE BACK PARKING LOT. YOU MAY PARK ON THE SIDE OR FRONT AS YOU FIND AVAILABLE. WE SUGGEST CONSOLIDATING VEHICLES AS THE GYM IS OPEN AT 7 AND WE WANT TO RESPECT THE MEMBERS THERE FINDING PARKING. Please complete the entry form and the release and waiver of liability. If you have a child under 18 participating, the parent must participate with them as well and supervise on the same team.. A waiver must be signed by the parent or guardian as well as one for the parent or guardian. The Ruck waiver is listed below as the "Ruck waiver and registration" and is not the standard waiver for training clients. Regular clients of Fintess4recovery must sign this additional waiver to participate.
